Google Maps is a very popular mapping application that is a lot like mapquest. You can use the tool to get driving directions and information about local businesses. Many people did not know that they can easily add their business listing to Google’s directory.
It is very easy and it is 100% free. Simply go to http://google.com/local/add/ and sign up. Their website says:
Use the Local Business Center to create your free listing. When potential customers search Maps for local information, they’ll find your business: your address, hours of operation, even coupons to print out and bring to your shop.
